Developing Interdisciplinary Research in Media and Sport

The Center for Media and Sport Studies advances critical and interdisciplinary inquiry into the relationship between media, sport, culture, technology, and society. Through research, scholarly publication, and academic collaboration, the center seeks to strengthen sports media literacy, ethical communication, and the development of an inclusive and accountable sporting culture.
Our mandate is to cultivate the next generation of thought leaders who
will interrogate the systemic structures of sports media, championing
ethical journalism and robust sociological inquiry.
